Greetings!

Welcome to my very first blog! I'll be touching on lifes expierences and my never ending journey with doodling.

Let me start off with a brief intro about myself.

My name is David, a 36 (turning 37 this month) year old hobby artist from Southern California. Throughout my life I’ve always drawn for the fun of it, taping Looney Tunes and DBZ episodes off of Cartoon Network to practice my skills, or filling up notebooks in high school with comics about my friends in a Star Wars setting to hone my creative process. Well now I’m an adult, drawing for internet friends and definitely not for money *cries*. Honestly, I’ve made some money in the past with my artwork and that was great but also a little nerve wrecking. Since then I really haven't done much in growing my skills, off and on I still continue to doodle and get nowhere with anything serious art wise and I’d like to change that starting now.

Anyway, the point of all of this is to share my art process with anyone that wants to tag along and this website is the start of all of that. I plan on building this site around some of my favorite original characters (OC’s). More specifically Dave and Steve. It’s all in my head and I need someplace to organize it all, characters, backstories, likes, dislikes, relationships, adventures and more. Eventually I will be adding older sketches and current drawings of everything and some comics when I have more time to draw some up. I will share bits of my life here and there in these blogs as well, along with other personal projects I might be doing at the time. I don’t know if this all sounds exciting to you but I am very excited for what's to come. I am still learning to build the website itself, so you'll get to see the changes I make along the way. I’ll do my best to work on the site whenever I have free time and post updates on the home page so you don't miss anything. Until then, keep on creating!
